Change the status of a trip

Modify the status of a trip to either processed, approved, new or submitted in back office.

If you'd like to change the status of a trip before processing your expense run, follow the steps below in back office.

  1. Click CoreExpense, then click Input.

  2. Click Create/Maintain Expense Items, then in the claimant field, enter the claimant number.

  3. From the Status section, select All.

  4. Highlight the trip and click Trip Detail.

From here, the status will either show as Processed or Approved. The steps you need to follow depend on the status.

Processed

If the status is Processed, follow the steps below.

  1. You'll be asked if you want to modify the processed trip, select Yes.

  2. A screen pops up, select OK.

  3. The trip will now have been moved to the status of Approved.

  4. To save changes, click Yes.

Approved

If the status is Approved, follow the steps below.

  1. There will be a drop-down present where you can select either New or Submitted.

  2. To save changes, click Yes.
